Nickerson Direct farmer customers throughout the UK are the first to benefit from the expansion of the company’s seed processing plant at Holton-le-Clay, Lincolnshire.

“The newly-added warehouse brings our total storage space at the Holton site to over an acre,” says Alan Paterson Nickerson’s site manager. “The extra space and facilities mean we can load seed more quickly and efficiently to give a faster service to hauliers and to our farmer customers across the UK.

“At present we are busy with maize seed and it is going out almost as fast as we can load a wagon, so the extra flexibility has already proved its worth.”

The Holton-le-Clay plant services the company’s wheat, barley, maize, grass, processing and vining pea seed business.
