NICKERSON DIRECT APPOINTS SEED SPECIALIST IN THE NORTH EAST
Chris, who lives at Market Weighton, will advise farmers in East and North Yorkshire on the Nickerson Direct range, which includes Original cereal seeds, Circle Ley grass mixtures, oilseeds, LG maize, pulses and Foundation potatoes, together with a number of complimentary products. Like other Nickerson Direct Seed Specialists he is trained in all aspects of agriculture and seed production.

Chris, who was born on a 200-acre farm at Winestead near Kingston-upon-Hull, completed an NVQ course in mixed farming and a two-year National Diploma in Agriculture at Bishop Burton College at Beverley. On leaving Bishop Burton, Chris worked for a local agricultural contractor but then spent five years in the motor trade, selling prestige brands such as BMW.
Determined to move back into agriculture, Chris joined Nickerson Direct as a Seed Specialist on 1st June, a varied role in which he is able combine his knowledge of agriculture, experience in a highly-competitive sales environment and love of dealing with people. He comments:
