Solstice is a nabim Group 1 variety with excellent milling characteristics producing high rates of flour extraction and appealing white flour, offering growers the potential for milling premiums in the domestic market. Solstice can also meet the specifications of the export market giving growers a choice of premium market outlets.

Solstice has good disease resistance, especially to yellow rust and, importantly for a quality variety, Fusarium ear blight. The development of mildew and eyespot will require monitoring, especially in early sown, thick crops and brown rust should be catered for where this is historically a problem.

SOWING DATE
Solstice can be sown from mid- September through to the end of January.
