ATLANTIC

ATLANTIC is a new, conventional winter oilseed rape variety from the Nickerson breeding programme in Lincolnshire. Atlantic has a similar gross output to Winner but with the advantage of higher oil content and improved disease resistance.

Atlantic has a good all round package of agronomic features making it a safe variety to grow and harvest. It is later to flower than Winner making

Atlantic has excellent resistance to the two important rape diseases in particular stem canker which will make it particularly suitable for southern areas of the country and a candidate for reduced fungicide inputs.

WIDE ROW SPACING
Early trial work has indicated Atlantic will respond to being sown on wider row spacings like Escort, improving standing and disease control.
