Spring Barley

Limagrain UK are leading breeders of spring barley. Although based in the UK, the programme is designed to enable selection and development of two row winter barley varieties for the main European markets. These include the UK, France and Germany.

The barely breeding team is lead by Mark Glew. The team has an excellent track record of producing successful winter barley varieties for many different markets, for instance Cassata, Pearl and Carat for the UK and Duet for Germany.
