Growing your own forage crop for your livestock smallholding can have many benefits; you get full traceability, and reducing your reliance on bought-in feed can improve your profitability – to name a few!

Stubble turnips are a fast growing catch crop. They provide an attractive source of highly palatable, easy to digest fodder for your sheep, lambs, pigs, dairy or beef cattle. Stubble turnips are economical to grow and can help to reduce winter feed costs.

Tyfon is a hybrid stubble turnip. It provides fast leafy growth for a fantastic summer feed for dairy or beef cattle. It also benefits from re-growth potential, so you can get an extra crop.

UK proven. Ideally sown in the spring and used in the summer months when grass growth generally declines.

Do not sow Tyfon too early as it is susceptible to bolting. Sowing in early May onwards is ideal.
